The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs is one of the most pivotal and responsive vice president offices of the university that is in direct contact with the students and directs the planning and administration of all student affairs, such as hygiene, treatment, physical education, counseling, and disciplinary services, and it provides necessary preparations to ensure the students’ welfare within the limits of the approved rules and regulations. Equipping the dormitories and students’ accommodation, providing food services, providing student loans for their educational expenses, accommodation, and emergencies as well as planning for job vacancies, health insurance, sporting affairs, and counseling services are all among the welfare services offered to the students of the university.
Manifestation of social justice is the most important outcome of the targeted subsidy plan.
The Proprietor’s Statement
Paying subsidy has created many serious problems for Iran’s economy by fluctuating the prices. Although paying subsidy seemed easy to carry out, it not only resulted in disaster but also failed to do partial justice. Paying a large amount of energy subsidy has prompted considerable concerns. With regard to the termination of fossil fuel resources, it is impossible to continue to pay subsidy and expend energy aimlessly. In order for Iran to be ranked number one in the region, it must plan on the appropriate distribution of income to achieve justice and develop an economy based on knowledge and software. The targeted subsidy plan is surly impressively advantageous because it economizes the projects related to renewable resources of energy supply, increases exploitation and economic competitiveness, clarifies the government’s budget, cuts down on the waste of resources, and gradually replaces social welfare plans with subsidy payments.
The university management and specifically the Office of Vice President Office for Student Affairs intend to help the targeted subsidy plan to be executed properly by carrying out plans aiming at economizing and offering suitable regional and climactic suggestions and solutions.
It is essential to implement the targeted subsidy plan to revolutionize the economic status of the country as well as achieving the social justice that seems to be unattainable without the national resolution on saving and applying personal and public facilities. The financial sources of the countries that are supposed to be spent on the production, job creation, and comprehensive development of knowledge, economy, and culture are being wasted on the application of energy.
Do you know that the yearly drinking water for each person in Iran is 2/7 times the universal standard? Or, do you know that the power consumed for each home subscriber in Iran is 3 times the universal standard? Do you know that the total expense for each meal in the self-service amounts to 28,000 rials, regarding both the cost of ingredients and energy consumption?
