The Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration aims at exploiting human and financial resources sustainably to gain higher efficiency by boosting productivity in different sections of the university with the least amount of time and expense.
Responsibilities
2Developing relations and constant coordination with the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology as well as the State Administrative and Employment Affairs Organization in order to manage the administrative-financial affairs of the university
2Participating in meetings to share ideas about the various administrative-financial affairs in order to harmonize the affairs with the other activities of the university
2Determining policies for the subsidiary sections based on the objectives of the university and issuing such the approved regulations to the subsidiary sections
2Giving suggestions to the university president on appointing and dismissing the directors and the acting heads of the subsidiary sections
2Presenting operation reports about the responsibilities of the office to the university officials
2Coordinating the activities of the subsections and solving their potential problems
2Managing and monitoring the staff affairs based on current regulations
2Fulfilling the executive objectives of the university
2Cooperating with:
•The Directorate of Budgeting and Organizationplan the current and construction budget of the university
•The university president to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of the headquarters units of the university
•The Legal Affairs Office to monitor and pursue the legal issues of the university
2Monitoring:
•The preparation of annual and monthly reports about the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration and sending the reports to the university officials
•The implementation of all public, technical/installation/repairing, ornamental, and hygiene services of the university
•The proper execution of construction and installation contracts as well as the preparation of the university provisions
•The general policies about employment, the staff and over time plans, and the encouragement/punishment approaches
•The enforcement of administrative-financial regulations made by the competent authorities of the country
•The timely provision of tools and equipment for the various sections of the university
•The management of all law affairs to defend the rights of the university
•The handling of the financial and accounting affairs of the university
•Coordinating and directing the activities of the subsidiary sections
•The administrative-financial activities of the subsidiary sections
•The affairs that make the university financially committed
•The employment affairs and HR based on the regulations
•The effective implementation of financial regulations
•All domestic and foreign purchases
2Receiving:
•Particular revenues earned through research contracts based on the law and regulations and putting them into the Treasury with the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran
•Public donations and putting them into the Public Donation Account of the university
2Issuing:
•The administrative notices and assignments for the academic members
•The administrative-financial circulars of the university
